Camden Intermediate School
Being a part of the Camden County School system and the principal at Camden Intermediate School is a great honor. Here at CIS, our focus is to tap into the potential of each student to promote maximum individual success and growth. Our students and staff are amazing, and as a bonus, we have an awesome support system of district personnel, parents, and the community. It takes desire and dedication from all of our stakeholders to ensure that our students are prepared to face life’s many challenges and acquire the tools to persevere, adapt, and flourish in an ever-changing global society.
In reviewing our data for the 2016-2017, it is clear that Camden County Intermediate School experienced great successes and identified opportunities for growth. Overall, as a school, we increased our reading proficiency scores by 4 points and remained in the 80% range in 5th grade science. We did fall a little short in math but, we can say unequivocally, that we have accepted the challenge before us and have systems in place to ensure the continuous growth for our students and exceed expectations as a school in the future.
It takes a systematic support system made up of our staff, parents, community members, PTO, and volunteers to ensure that Camden Intermediate School is a safe and nurturing place where active and joyful learning take center stage. Together we CAN and WILL rise to the challenge.
