The Board of Education for Camden County is accepting applications to fill one vacancy on the Camden County School Board. Anyone interested, qualified, and eligible to serve on the Camden County Board of Education by temporary appointment is required to complete an online application located on our district website (https://www.ccsnc.org).
To be a Qualified Candidate a person must:
Be at least 18 years of age;
Reside in and be a permanent resident of Camden County; and
Be otherwise eligible to hold elective office in North Carolina.
Applicants must complete all required fields on the application. Information submitted in the application is public data and may be subject to release upon request.
The application is due by 5:00 p.m. on November 20, 2024, and should be submitted to Jacqueline Davenport by email at jdavenport@camden.k12.nc.us, or delivered in person to Jacqueline Davenport at 174 NC Hwy 343-North, Camden, NC 27921.
