20th Annual Martin Luther King Jr Unity Celebration on Monday Jan 15, 2024 at 11:00 am Unity Walk from Grandy Primary to Camden County High School. Then at 11:30 am MLK Celebration in the CCHS Cafeteria. Followed by a Complimentary Lunch at 12:30.

Camden County Schools are closed today, Wednesday, January 10th, for staff and students.

There will be a two hour delay for Camden County staff and students tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10th. The daylight will give our bus drivers time to navigate their routes and we can monitor any potential areas of concern. Thank you and stay safe!

In coordination with Pasquotank-Camden Emergency Management and the National Weather Service, Camden County Schools will release at 12:30 tomorrow. This will ensure that all of our buses will be finished with routes before the approaching heavy winds and rain. All after-school programs and school sponsored activities are also canceled for Tuesday. Please monitor local media and the district website for the most current district announcements. Thank you for your understanding as we proactively address this weather system for the safety of students and staff.

October 16, 2023 is a no school day for students. This is a Professional Development Day for Teachers.

Due to weather events beyond anyone's control, the 3rd annual Heritage Day Festival has been canceled. Tropical storm warnings and heavy rain forecast for the next couple of days would prevent this event from being enjoyable and successful for all involved.

Due to the potential threat of weather, Camden County Schools will have an 11:30 early release day on Friday, September 22, 2023. Will have both breakfast and lunch service before dismissal and there will be no after-school activities on Friday. Thank you for your continued support of Camden County Schools.

NEWS RELEASE - The Camden County Board of Education will hold a Special Called Closed Session Meeting on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the Camden County Public Library located at 118 NC Hwy 343 South, Camden, NC 27921. The special called closed session meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss one or more confidential personnel matters as allowed by N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(6) and to consult with the Board Attorney regarding matters protected by the attorney/client privilege and to preserve that privilege, as allowed by N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3). Some personnel actions may be taken in open session following the closed session. There will be no public comment section during the special called meeting.
